It is almost impossible for Madrid to win the La Liga title. Unless a miracle happens. Even if Real Madrid wins all of their upcoming matches, the title is out of the question unless Barcelona drops points. Barcelona losing 14 points in 10 games is highly unlikely.
Even as a Real Madrid fan I have given up. I don't feel very confident and I'm realistic about the current state of affairs. The points difference is big and as you write it is impossible that Barcelona will lose and lose fourteen points in the remaining games of the season.
I think at the moment it's best to keep trying to win and get the three points. They should focus on the Copa Del Rey and UCL. Because the Copa Del Rey and UCL are the most real expectations at the moment.
Real Madrid finds themselves caught in a La Liga quagmire. As the idea hints, their recent L has widened the points gap, and they can't afford to drop any more if they want to lock down that 2nd spot. The face-off with Cadiz is make-or-break, and they've gotta snatch that W to keep Atletico Madrid at bay.
But, I'm mad anxious and on edge about Los Blancos' odds of coming out on top. Cadiz might not be the most formidable foe, but in the world of football, it's always unpredictable, and we've seen our fair share of shockers. Real Madrid better watch their step and not sleep on the competition.
