I cannot deny that here a team like England has not come very far for a long time, and that is one of the most prominent teams, not only in Europe but in the whole world, as far as I am concerned, the best Of all the teams, it was when David Beckham was there and when Wayne Rooney was there,unfortunately they didn't win a World Cup at that time, but right now I haven't seen good players as outstanding as the ones I named, there are very good ones, but not with that quality, and That is something that should be worked on within the English team.
I can agree with you. At this point, England doesn't have a player of the calibre of David Beckham, Wayne Rooney or Michael Owen. They do have some very good players such as Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling, but they are not as the same level as Beckham and Rooney. Absence of a single star player is one of the negatives, but it also has some advantages. I would say that England team has good co-ordination and bonding compared to many of the other UEFA teams. Also, I haven't noticed any of the players going on selfish mode, i.e not passing around the ball.
