I think you have it backwards: the deal was loaded's BCH for Ver's BTC. Interestingly, loaded sold all his BCH fork proceeds for BTC. As @Rampion hinted, loaded probably got spooked when he saw that Reddit was investigating the source of his funds.
Yes, I made an error when writing. The proposed deal was for the BCH the OP held to trade with the BTC that Ver held.Loaded still never replied to me at all despite my contacting him numerous times. That shows his intentions were dishonest from day one.

Talk about Ver believing in Bitcoin Cash so much so that he cannot even get himself to sell ALL his Bitcoins now, or to have exchanged them when the fork was made.

Wow so it seems Loaded made the thread and then got Ver interested but then when Ver came back to conclude the deal it was Loaded who pulled out and refused to answer Ver?
We don't know who backed out. Roger said that Loaded backed out, but Roger says a lot of things. He says that Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin for instance which is clearly not true.
