There is no obligation to post in any dedicated thread to announce anything.
No need to delete your topic in my opinion. I agree to JollyGood here, that new topics about achievements should be eligible to create.
I was about to report the topic to the mods to get it deleted so I can post the same thing in the "dedicated topic", I assumed there was some sort of general consensus that such topics shouldn't exist at all, thank you both for clearing the confusion.
