Manchester City are quite close to the semi finals now after getting a very solid win like 3-0 over Bayern Munich. Honestly I was waiting for Manchester City to win in Etihad but this was way more than my expectations. Especially in the second half Bayern Munich were pretty bad against them. It was like the game Manchester City played against Leipzig in this half.
Bayern Munich have nothing to lose from now on. They will need to take much bigger risks and Manchester City are just the team to benefit from that.
In the past season, they got big advantage after the first leg against Real Madrid but we all knew what happened and how Manchester City ended their last Champions League season. I don't think they are as weak as they were in the past season mentally and they should learn some sort of lesson after many seasons playing with biggest clubs in Champions League.
Especially Bayern Munich are not at their best form in this season. From player quality to their performance, they are not at best form and it is good for Manchester City to go to Munich and avoid big loss from 0 -3 and bigger to be eligible for semi finals. I think they will be able to achieve this target and will aim at their final match and first title in Champions League.
