Heard a lot of these stories from my friends, they've missed out on not just bitcoin but also other alts that definitely have the potential to go up, now they're on a spiral of losses because they're indiscriminately investing in tokens in hopes that one of them is a jackpot and so far, none of them have hit anything but losses. The thing I take away from all of that is that if you want to get into it, never have doubts but at the same time, study if there's a potential.
I am lucky in this matter because I entered in market when btc price was 10k but i did not buy with good amount. Altcoins give me good profit. Cake token did 4x for me and other meme coins also gave me huge profit. I didn't invest any penny from my pocket. All money that i invested and used for trading was airdrop fund. in three years i made more than 20k$.
My cousin follow me and start investing when Btc along with other altcoins was in full boom. unfortunately after his investing market crashed and his token fall below 2x. You cannot predict the price of any token because its decentralized system and even token owner didn't know what will happen with his token tomorrow.
