Bitcoin alone is not bad per se and it depends who you ask...

But if we look at some of the ways in which electricity is generated for Bitcoin mining, some circles will put the blame on bitcoin for pollution and the large carbon footprint it leaves..something we have seen in the past that caused price to shake when Elon Musk brought this up and its carbon emissionspot ligh that caused a negative/positive impact on the BTC mining sector.

in a sense it is as it is a counter-security feature from bad actors.
