So this must be it. PSG have all the chance to go for the Ligue 1 title comfortably from now on. This match versus Lens was really critical for both teams. But Abdul Samed's receiving that red card quite early in the match just devastated Lens' hopes completely. He will be responsible for the gap to be opened more for sure. Because right after this red card PSG just destroyed them by scoring three goals in the same half already. Mbappe and Messi were again making a great duo by making contribution with assists and goals.
At this point Lens had better focus on keeping their place in the standings. Because it looks like Marseille will take it back by defeating Troyes as they are 1-0 ahead already.

This result makes PSG had 8 difference points above to Marseille so i am sure they are in the comfortable positions and because Ligue 1 only have 7 matches remaining then mathematically PSG have to gets 5 wins again to locked the title and it won't be hard for them considering PSG had easy schedules until end of this season
The competitions to get runner up position is quite interesting even more than the competition for the title this because difference points between Lens, Marseille and Monaco is very tight now so whoever the teams who slipped for upcoming matches then their position possibly will be taking over by other teams and next week i found some of big matches

We all know whether it Monaco and Lyon had impressive performance recently so Marseille and Lens will gets tough opponents this time and for Lens after defeated by PSG they should be able to bouncing back if want to secured their position and Lens actually had good records from Monaco that on Ligue 1 they were successfully to gets 2 draw and 2 wins in the last 4 matches against Monaco so maybe this is indicated Lens can be the winner of this match

Lens' position is somewhat weakened after the defeat with PSG. Because PSG secured a 3-1 victory by a huge margin. But if Lens wants to solidify their place in the points table again, great performance will have to come back through.

It will be very difficult for Lens to regain their second place in the points table. Because the performance of the team in Marseille is consistent. They are not losing any match for a long time. Even then, the Marseille team is only 1 point ahead of Lens. And so if Marseille drops a point in a match, Lens will be able to regain second place in the points table. You're right, I agree with you Lens lost by a big margin to PSG did a bit of a disservice to their position in the points table. Now Lins will have to secure a series of consecutive victories, which will enable them to regain their place in the points table.
