Metaverse is nothing but a joke these days. Facebook tried doing something crazy, but it clearly didn't work out for them which is why they lost a lot of money. Other projects that followed this particular trend got screwed too.
Am not really a fan of the metaverse, NFTs etc, but I gotta hand it to the Bitcasino team for trying something different.
I am with you on this one, metaverse is just a sham and a money grab strategy for most of the NFT and metaverse projects out there, I've had my own share of the bad experience some years back when NFTs were still a new trend.
The problem with metaverse projects is that the developer prioritized money collection first before the roadmap of the project. If only the developers are serious in developing such kind of technology and not after for the money only, we could have seen how metaverse can positively affect entertainment and gambling industry. Alas, most of those who get into the metaverse trend just planned to money grab.
NFTs I bought in 2020 with hopes of selling them and making good profit are still with me with absolutely no means of selling them, all the NFT and metaverse projects I know of have either collapsed, or struggling at the moment, to collapse later, the hype around NFTs and metaverse is almost dead, but then, every business can explore if they want, not a crime I believe.
I am also one of those who invested on NFT during its trend and I lost most of my investment since most of the NFT project either rug pulled or the NFT are worthless.
