I wasn't expecting such thing like winning both of the games from Inter. Because Benfica have technically been doing much better than Inter this season in general.
Benfica are getting closer to the Liga Portugal title every week. They lost their last two games which led to Porto's decreasing the point difference to 4 points though. But still there are six weeks remaining and Benfica are the closest team to make it. Their Champions League performance has also been impressive in general. Their group stage performance against PSG was also great. When I thought of all of this I waited for them to play solid against Inter. But there was just a loss by 2-0 at the end. I don't think they can make a comeback from this situation.
I was even very surprised by the results. because I also predict that Benfica is a strong team that can trouble Inter Milan. because even Inter Milan is in an inconsistent condition in Serie A. And it's different from Benfica who continues to show good performance in every match in the Portuguese league. But it seems that Inter Milan's experience in the Champion's league is much better. so Inter Milan's mentality is far above Benfica. but in the second leg I think Benfica could make a surprise.
