At the end of the first innings, CSK was able to achieve 226 runs / 6 wickets. So it was an incredible batting of Devon Conway, Shivam Dube, and Ajinkya Rahane. Others also did good batting today.

Royal Challengers Bangalore has also a good batting lineup. Though chasing 226 runs is very tough but is not impossible for the RCB. Although I believe CSK will win today.

Edit: Ops Kohli is gone. A big plus for CSK.

Do you know what was special about this Chennai super kings innings of  226 runs? Usually, when CSK makes such big scores, we always assume that MS Dhoni must have made a big 100 or 50 runs contribution in the total or he might have scored a quick 25 - 30 runs, but that did not happen. In fact, he was not even required to bat (come to bat in 2nd last ball of the innings) and Chennai super kings made this gigantic total.
Devon Conway scored the highest 83 runs with a strike rate of 184 runs.

In response, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost two quick wickets including the wicket of Virat Kohli, making the chase even more difficult.
The chase have been made easier and today it is an unlucky day for CSK. In 9 overs Royal Challengers have scored 105 runs losing the early 2 wickets. Maxwell and Du Plessis on fire. Already Du Plessis have reached half century in 23 balls. 122 runs in 66 balls is easy reachable for a team with the best batting line-up. Expect the match to be over by the 18th over or earlier.

Look like you underestimated the power and skill of MS Dhoni.

The match has been won by Chennai super kings and all credit does to him. Even though Royal Challengers Bangalore were scoring runs at a rapid pace and at one time it seems that they might achieve this target with one or two overs to spare but Chennai super kings captain kept his cool and eventually his team won this very interesting thrilling match.
I didn't underestimated CSK, most who watched the batting of RCB could've had the same feelings of mine.

Yes, with the scoring in much faster manner this is all unexpected. RCB reached 100 runs in 50 balls, and 150 runs in 80 balls. Further the team missed the momentum as the wickets of du Plessis and Maxwell fell. Even after that Dinesh Karthik made his contribution. Somehow this is the Dhoni's luck that brought him the win.
