~snip~

With the kind of team PSG is, I expected Lens to get a point from that match. I don't agree Lens knew it was a game they knew and expected to lose. A team that was second on the league table playing the team at the top of the table and you felt they didn't have a chance?
Lens have been impressive this season, especially considering the fact that there are teams like Lyon, Marseille, Monaco, Lille in the league. Marseille just overtook Lens to get the second while Lens is on third but I don't think that is the end of it. Its just one point differentiating them and Lens will still fight for that position as they've done all season long.

To be honest, I don't underestimate Franck Haise's squad. but the facts, however, if you compare between these two teams. they have differences based on the quality of players who differ greatly. supposedly, if PSG don't experience a bit of polemic within their own internal team, they won't experience a drastic drop in performance this season.
at the beginning of the season, PSG went smoothly through game after game, even though it was always colored by the dispute between Neymar and Mbappe. in the second half of this season, PSG's game has decreased, especially after their players played their matches with their respective national teams in the world cup event. After that, several players were injured, including Neymar ahead of the crucial match against Bayern. plus, the most crucial thing is, the decline in performance of PSG midfielders, especially Vitinha. which in the end, PSG suffered defeat in several matches.

For Lens, this team is a mediocre team. in fact, better than Marseille and Monaco. it's just, of all the teams we've listed here. the only team that doesn't have a busy schedule is Lens, they only participate in two competitions, namely, Ligue 1 and Coupe de France. so naturally, if PSG, Marseille and Monaco experience ups and downs. because they have a busy schedule of matches, but as professional players they are required to play perfectly. and now it's proven, after PSG was able to return to form, Lens was easily beaten. In fact, Marseille has shifted the ranking previously occupied by Lens. Next week, Lens will have a match against Monaco. if Monaco is able to prove its toughness, then the position occupied by Lens will be taken over by Monaco. Well, just wait, we'll find out this week.
