Despite Chelsea being the dominant side against Madrid, they could not win the match and were eliminated from the tournament. If they had scored in the first half and had control of the game the match could have ended with a very different result but goalkeeper Courtois made excellent saves throughout the match. Real Madrid managed to pass the round again as if they were the main team of the tournament.
Chelsea really performed well in the first half to blocked Real Madrid not to score a single goal in the first half, because Chelsea defenders didn't give Real Madrid strikers any chance to have access to their goalpost than to made the first half ended up draw 0-0. Real Madrid goalkeeper really help their team to avoid disgrace from Chelsea, because Chelsea gain many opportunities that would have given Chelsea three goals to weak the power of Real Madrid but Real Madrid goalkeeper saved all the balls not to allow Chelsea to achieve a single goal through out the match. Indeed Real Madrid deserved that victory, because they really prepared to eliminate Chelsea from the tournament which they did by defeated Chelsea 2-0.
Poor finishing in Chelsea final third was responsible for lack of goal in their match against Real Madrid of course N'Golo Kante and Marc Cucurella missed chances could have changed the match had they scored those scoring chances unfortunately got punished, moreso Lampard tactical formation of starting a single attacker was also a major factor responsible for lack of goals, it's obvious that Chelsea can't be playing a experience team in UCL like Real Madrid and miss some scoring chances, meanwhile Chelsea is out of UCL and currently in 11th position and with no chances of playing UCL next season, in the other match Napoli missed penalty affected their chances of comeback unfortunately are out of UCL
