There is a statement from Marizanne Kapp regarding the performance of some of the associate players in the recently concluded FairBreak Invitational tournament (second edition):

The BCCI as usual, banned it's players from taking part. The matches were held in Hong Kong, and in the final match Warriors defeated Falcons by 94 runs. Hayley Matthews was the player of the match, for scoring 123.
This is a good thing for the associate nations players, in my opinion. They will be able to improve their performance and also use that experience when they play for their home country.
Of course, BCCI is going to ban their players from taking part in various tournaments that does not make them money directly. That’s because they think of themselves as some premium product that everyone has to buy to see.
