So everyone on here having a negative feel on the coin at an exchange... question is... What are you doing to help this coin? Are you sitting back expecting someone else to do all the work so you can make some money? I say instead of watching the exchange, go out and be proactive about it. You get out of it what you put into it.
All these other coins that make a killing up front die.. all that does is leave you looking for your next meal. How about we all sacrifice now... for the payout later. Go to the forum page and register and get involved. Just a thought.
I'm not a developer last time I checked. It really isn't my responsibility to make a coin succeed or fail. I mine or buy certain coins in the hope of making a long-term profit. I also write about certain promising new coins and trends and other things in the cryptocurrency scene. I ask questions in a lot of threads and try to contribute my own opinions and knowledge. But to suggest that everyone who mines or buys spartancoin has some kind of obligation to market the coin and/or help develop services for it, is inaccurate and would set a bad precedent. The average coin holder, miner, investor - does not have the time or interest in doing this. Only a small core group of enthusiasts do, and they are typically rewarded for their efforts via bounties.
I looked into writing an article about spartancoin but I couldn't get any really solid answers so there wasn't content for a decent article. I keep asking about what is so special about this coin and how it will be marketed but the answers I get are vague at best. So for now I am just holding the coins I mined and waiting to see where this goes.
