As per the rules newbies can apply with zero merit but in your case you don't have any posts to get merits as all your posts are bounty reports so it is not regarded as merit worthy posts so you won't get any merit according to me.This section is different and merits are mostly given to some good quality posts or if you have made some useful posts but bounty reports are not part of it.So engage in different threads if you want merits.
