On the Barcelona Open it is Musetti vs Tsitsipas and Alcaraz vs Evans in the semifinals after the walkover of Sinner from the match against Musetti. It looks like the finals to be played between Alcaraz vs Tsitsipas.
Now Musetti is facing Tsitsipas and has entered the third set, but at this time Tsitsipas is 3-0 up, he is more experienced on clay which is why several times he has been able to turn things around which are actually more profitable for Musetti. The first set Musetti had a chance to get him but it's a shame he couldn't finish well but he was lucky enough in the second but the third set looked to be Tsitsipas's and into the final.
Waiting for what will happen in the second semifinal later, but pretty sure Alcaraz will be a easier to overcome Evans and most likely the final will face Tsitsipas vs Alcaraz, this is the ideal final even though I hope Musetti will go to the final because his performance has been quite impressive since Monte Carlo, but it looks like that's not going to happen.
In the semifinals match between Tsitsipas and Musetti the fight cobtinued till the last set. Musetti played well and won the second set, however the third set looked to be an easy win for Tsitsipas and he made his entry to the finals. After his Australian Open finals against Djokovic now he had entered the finals against Alcaraz
On the other match Alcaraz won it on direct set against Evans without much difficulty 6-2 6-2. Now the finals have turned more interesting ad both the players are at good form. Alcaraz will try to lift the trophy with the winning form of Indian Wells.final against Medvedev.
I hope that Alcaraz stays healthy now for a very long time. I wish we can have another superstar on the rise. That is what makes sports so interesting to watch. In Formula 1 it once was Michael Schumacher who made the sport interesting to me because I always wanted to know whether now there is somebody who can stop him. Injuries destroy the competition when it happens to younger players with amazing talent. I am not so much talking about the older generation because that is normal, although I would love to see a Djokovic in perfect shape against an Alcaraz in perfect shape at all four GS tournaments within one year. Those two players against each other at their peak, but I doubt that we will really get the possibility to observe such a head to head anymore.
