Juventus' performance against Sporting wasn't impressive at all. It was a really competitive matchup about the score maybe but I didn't like Juventus in any legs. I don't know if they can apply the same game plan against Sevilla as well. Considering that Sevilla are the most dominant team of the Europa League for years it will be really hard.
I agree with you. It cannot be said that Juventus' performance against Sporting was very good. Sporting played well enough. Sporting's performance was even better than Juventus's in the second leg. Juventus were able to qualify for the semi-finals due to being an experienced team. There is no way to call the Sevilla team weak. The Sevilla team had a great performance against Manchester United. And if they can put up a similar performance against Juventus then I think Sevilla will be able to qualify for the final.
Sporting played well against Juventus, it's just that maybe they weren't too lucky to qualify for the semifinals. But overall they played well and if they can go through they deserve it in my opinion. Now that all has passed and the opponents they will be facing are already in these semifinals, so they better focus on the matches that are coming up.
Juventus are not in good form now. They have lost their last three matches in Serie A. Yesterday they lost against Napoli in the last match. Also, they can't play well in Europa League matches. Juventus need to perform well in Serie A as they look to qualify for the Champions League. However, if they perform like this, they will not be able to win the Europa League title. I think Sevilla is currently the favourite to win the Europa League this season as well. Sevilla is the most likely to win the title.
