Monaco is not a small matter neither and Lens managed to beat them easily, that's something they really needed to do and they managed to do it, which is why I believe that it is an important win. It was definitely an impressive win without a doubt. They are not guaranteed to be second right now, they could still end up losing, but at the end of the day being second and trying to not lose that is better, being third and trying to catch second would have been harder.

So, this is why Lens got a very important win here and they will be happy about it tonight when they go to sleep and feel relaxed. Now it is onto next week, they need to keep doing this for a while until they are guaranteed that they will be second, they can't let their foot off the gas until it is a sure thing.
Clement admitted that Monaco did not show their best performance in yesterday's match. But he hopes his team can take lessons from the defeat and show a positive reaction in the remaining six matches to stay in the top 4 to get a UCL ticket next season. With this defeat, Monaco is still stuck in fourth place in the standings. But Clement emphasized that they would focus more on how to win every match without having to think about their position in the current standings.

The results of yesterday's match AS Monaco had to admit RC Lens' superiority after being defeated 3-0 in Week 32 of Ligue 1. Two goals from Lois Openda and another goal from Adrien Thomasson meant that the Rouge et Blanc failed to move up to the top 3 in the table at the moment and I think Monaco will improve after this humiliating defeat.
