After Casemiro, Harry Kane's joining Manchester United as well can make them be one of the championship candidates next year. Many news I have also read are telling that the Red Devils will try to build a very assertive squad next year. Still it would be a little funny that Kane signs for Manchester United because of complaining about not being able to win a cup. 
Manchester seem to be very interested in Harry Kane although no official bid has been established between the two parties as we know. In the next transfer window we shall know how much truth there is to this rumours. One thing I am some how sure about is that If Tottenham miss out if European football Harry Kane might give the idea of leaving Spurs a thought and who knows Manchester United qualification for champions league football might give them some luck in the deal.
