There is excessive noise everywhere because Chelsea is searching for a new coach. It feels as if they are trying to sell the club rather than hire a coach, which leads to unnecessary chatter. Whenever I hear news about discussions between Chelsea and Pochettino regarding transfers, my interest die down once I discover that the deal has yet to be finalized. It's true that Pochettino has not won any titles during his time in England, there's a chance he has learned from his mistakes and is eager to lead Chelsea to success, fulfilling Todd Boehly's dream for the club.
Mauricio Pochettino is like everyone else. Remember that during his time at Tottenham Hotspur, the team never won a trophy and perpetually finished in second place despite the players' intense determination. Every single time Chelsea suffers a defeat in the Premier League, they continue with this trend. One of the worst managers in football, Frank Lampard led Chelsea through five games and suffered five losses with nine goals conceded and just one goal scored. It's shocking to see a prestigious club deteriorate into a young team who only started playing football yesterday.
Pochettino made valiant efforts to push Tottenham towards Premier League success, but unfortunately, they never quite made it, always settled for second, third, or fourth place instead. However, this consistent performance earned them a place in the Champions League.
Now,my question is this - if Todd Boely is willing to settle for Pochettino's track record, then why sack Tuchel in the first place? After all, Tuchel's performance in Chelsea was superior to Pochettino's. Are they now regretting their decision to let Tuchel go?
Right now, Pochetinno is the only man they have for the deal, hopefully he can transformed Chelsea from this mess they are in.
