The only mistake you would make is to feel bad over people that leaves you for no fault of yours... if for anything you should be grateful they left when they did so you can make room for better people.

Trust me, when the time is right you will make good friends that would value you and never leave but till then learn skills, read, accrue values and when people see your content, they will have reason never to lose you.
