I don't think its that easy to stop this Manchester city midfield when you have brilliant players like  Kevin de bryune playing and making sure that all passes reaches the beast of a striker HAALAND. Real Madrid are no doubt king of the champion league but there is always a time a king is dethroned and with Manchester at this peak and definitely do damage to real Madrid. The champion league winner is no doubt any team that succeeds between this two giants.

I feel Real Madrid are at the brink of being dethroned from the Champions League title this season. Just watch the spectacular performance of Manchester city this season, you’ll only support that  Manchester city will win the champions league title this season. Pep once said, the only reason he hasn’t won the champions league with Manchester city is because Real Madrid is always there. But I’m sure this season, the feeling is not the same and Manchester city will be able to challenge Real Madrid to victory in this Champions League semifinals.

However, the latest news seems to be true that Ceballos will fill Modric's place temporarily and that could end up in the match against Manchester City later if Modric hasn't recovered either. Yes, we can only hope that in the first leg Real Madrid will win first or at least hold Manchester City to a draw, so that in the second leg Real Madrid will appear with a full squad with Modric to qualify for the Champions League final.

Ceballos can only try but can’t cover up for Real Madrid fully as Luka Modric does. This is a very important match that they need their full squad in order to be able to stop Manchester city from prevailing against them. Real Madrid prowess is always in the midfield and you don’t allow them get too comfortable with the ball. I’m sure Pep has already unlocked and know this about Real Madrid. With Modric absence, it’s going to be an advantage for the English team to prevail.
