Borussia Dortmund has shown huge commitment and hard work this season in their bid to end Bayern Munich's dominance in the German Bundesliga. After they were able to take advantage Bayern Munich's lacklustre go top of the league last weekend, I was thinking they were gonna hang on at the top for the rest of the season.
Their match against Bochum was a game almost everyone expected them to comfortably win but they failed. If Bayern Munich takes over the top stop it'll very difficult to stop them from retaining the title
It is very likely that now the mood will turn around again.
It is clear that the 1 point that Dortmund got yesterday will be well maximized by Bayern considering that they will face Hertha tomorrow and if indeed they get 3 points the top position will be taken back from Dortmund.
Even though in this case the competition still exists, Bayern's focus is also the same now with Dortmund, especially as they currently have no other competition to win apart from the Bundesliga because they have lost the DFB and Champions League.
It would be a different story if Dortmund had won against Bochum yesterday but since they didn't do well in yesterday's match it is very likely that the trophy is now going to Bayern again.
