Have you ever wonder if bitcoin is being govern by any company?
No, because I read and understand the Bitcoin Whitepaper correctly.

That is the unique thing about Bitcoin and its decentralized protocol
Exactly! 
But the funny thing is that I believed before that the Bitcoin protocol can't be changed because it's decentralized.  Until such time I discovered it is possible.  Because Bitcoin protocol is governed by a decentralized community of developers and users who propose and implement changes to the protocol.  Just like the Bitcoin network implemented a software upgrade called "Segregated Witness" (SegWit) to increase the network's transaction capacity and improve security by separating signature data from transaction data.
