It also was up against an extremely weak opponent. Even though Hertha didn't concede a goal for such a long time, everyone could see why they are by far the worst team in the Bundesliga. It was catastrophic. How they are handling the ball and the passing, everything is so bad and yet it took Bayern 70 minutes to score a goal. I think that perhaps it is still not over for Dortmund. If Bayern plays like that against the upcoming opponents and also against Leipzig, there is a possibility that they will drop points one more time. Whether Dortmund is ready or not then is another question.
Bayern created a lot of chances, but I don't see a problem in that they only scored in the 70th minute, sometimes it happens that the ball does not fly into the net, the most important thing is that they won. It would be good for Bayern to have a strong centre-forward like Haaland or like they used to have Lewandowski, in which case I think with so many chances created the score would have been significantly higher. I am sure that Bayern will be able to keep the championship.
The most important thing is that they end the game with a win. People don't care how they play and how many chances they miss, as long as they can still score the winning goal it can bury the disappointment of their fans. Now Bayern Munich is at the top of the standings. It takes 4 more wins for them to claim the Bundesliga title, but it won't be easy for them to do considering they are still inconsistent in several matches.
Again and again Borussia Dortmund failed to maintain their position at the top of the standings by only winning a draw in their last game. In fact, on paper, it should be easy for them to get full points in that match. The results they got made their position necessary to be coup again by Bayern Munich in the same week they managed to win. If we look at it as a whole, Borussia Dortmund has many opportunities to become champions, it's just that they are not good at making the most of these opportunities.
