Edit:

Before hearing Dima's theories (or anyone elses' really) I'm going to posit that Ukraine had had it's rocket fuel plant running there and/or were salvaging chemicals from ICBMs which may or may not have been being decommisioned.  Deep underground (like the place where the NATO command is probably still buried.)  I'm going to guess that the same basic weapon was used to do some mining, and they hit pay-dirt.  Big time.

All talk, no sources, no confirmation. As usual, disinformation - not that I was expecting anything else.

Somehow the people of Russia are finding your theory unconvincing. Russia has been bleeding population for decades and the projections are even worse. I guess in a way you are right, there is not much of a fight to have a place in Russia. The invasion of Ukraine however shows that there quite of a fight to stay well away from the "sun of Russia" and its "vast territories". If you like to have plenty of room for yourself... you are in the right place.
Yep, i know.
Apart from that, most the RF territory is just too unhospitable, unless you are a deer.
All hope for global warming. Grin

After the Scottish independence referendum, the population of the UK may also decline. And if you return the occupied territories to Ireland, then even more so. But don't worry, quality is more important than quantity.

You? Meaning who?

Sorry to break this to you, but Scotland already had a referendum and decided to be part of the UK. You see, that is where people decide what they want - you probably do not understand this, look it up in Wikipedia.

It is finally time Russia starts experiencing what they have been doing against Ukraine for more than one year now.Belgorod and Sevastopol are just the start,it will go much deeper in the heart of Russia and hopefully this will start and awake the "zombies" as this is what Russians citizens are, they will go into protests as they will risk their own life. All those meetings Ukraine had with the Western powers I am sure they have gotten much longer range weapons capable of striking deep into Russia and I don't believe much in nuclear rhetoric because they know well if they use them,by international law they will be eradicated from earth soon after and I don't think Russians are stupid.

They just do not get it. They just send drones to try to destroy the civilian infrastructure, such as cities electrical supply, with very limited success. However one attack like this, right to the war critical infrastructure is beyond their understanding and yet 100 times more effective.

And they think this is about a punch exchange... no no... this is about taking the war into the occupied territory that Putin thought as "safe" and even in the RF territory properly said. Much more to come.
