Reminded me of the Pepcon incident which happened to be associated with rocket fuel production. Perchlorate in this case.

detonation. Vs., say a vaccum-type explosion such as the Lebanese 'grain storage' event or the TOS-Ax 'heavy flame thrower' thermobaric weapons which would be characterized as explosions or conflagrations. At least as I understand/use the terms.
Noteworthy also is the fairly strong and lingering stationary glow at the cloud level. I would say that there was still a lot of something quite uncommon burning at the (postulated by me) crater at ground zero.
