I have uninstalled the app at present and I'm going to attempt to restore from seed on my friends macbook tomorrow - unless you can advise me to try something different? - I have tried each of the last 3 versions of electrum more than once each without success (4.3.4 says its too old to open that wallet and 4.4.0 / 4.4.1 both crash after I enter my password to recover my default wallet from seed).
