That obviously ain't no fault of the casinos or game offerers. It's all about the gambler and his or her gambling habits not to understand where to draw the line or call it in for a day.

You know, when a gambler after a long time of lose and then suddenly starts to make some wins, you get the delusion that, its your lucky day and wants to make maximum use of it but, luck does run out and you might have as well hit your luck for the day with the win you've got.

Best to always take a time out and go home or logout. Tomorrow always presents some new opportunities.

That's the psychological effect when you are playing in a long time, thinking that after suffering with a long losing streak, it's about time to
take advantage of the winning streak that he's enjoying.

End of the day, instead of recovering or having some profits, it will lead him to lose back everything as he doesn't have any limitations to stop his gambling.

It's more on how you control and how you manage to set both win and losing amount.

There is no doubt that the only way to play safe is to be rational. It is a pity, but it seems that some people still have some kind of magic thinking (like you said: "this is my day" or "I'm in a streak of good luck") and they can behave irrationally. For a few lucky ones, it will work, but there is the risk implied of the confirmation bias, so chances are that they lose the gains in the next "streak". For many unlucky ones, it is indeed a very needed reality check. In my opinion, it's better sooner rather than  later.
