Leverkusen's success in reaching the Europa League semi-finals this season has come as a shock, but they really were in for it. Leverkusen have a lot of dangerous players who will threaten Roma's chances of making it to the final, so Mourinho will have to anticipate whatever mistakes his team make so they can win the match.

I'm sure Rome is better, but Leverkusen can't be underestimated. I remember Frankfurt (Germany) doing very well last season, so I think Leverkusen can do it too. The first leg is played at the Stadio Olimpico, so it should be an advantage that Roma can take advantage of. There is still plenty of time for preparation, both teams are focused on finding the best solution because it seems that both of them are very ambitious to qualify for the final and win the Europa League title this season.
In this match, Roma is more favorite and I think it is very reasonable. because in the first leg, the match will be held at the Stadio Olimpico, headquarters of AS Roma. but referring to their matches in the Domestic League, Roma experienced 3 matches with unsatisfactory results. ahead of the semifinal match against Leverkusen, Roma will host against Inter and this match is also quite crucial. because, Roma needs full points to move up to 4th place in the standings occupied by Inter. that means, Mourinho will be busy with two crucial matches. moreover, currently AS Roma is experiencing a decline in performance.

On the other hand, Leverkusen put in quite an impressive performance in 14 unbeaten matches in all competitions, which is quite an impressive achievement. if there are many who favor AS Roma, then I will prefer Leverkusen. I think this team has the potential to qualify for the final phase, so the one who needs to be more vigilant is Jose Mourinho. because Leverkusen will not be easily conquered even though the first leg is played at the Stadio Olimpico.
In the end I have to think of something different between the domestic league and the Europa League semi-finals of each of the 4 remaining teams. Roma are favorites because of their big names, but their achievements are also not very convincing in Europe. While Leverkusen have done very well in the Bundesliga, I'm not entirely sure they will have the same form in the semi-finals.

The semifinal between Leverkusen and Roma was indeed very balanced in terms of team quality, but it seems Leverkusen's ambition to qualify for the final was difficult for Mourinho to prevent. I think this is a match full of prestige and rivalry, so it should be a match that is not boring to look forward to.
