Barcelona are on a different level this season after struggling with the sanctions, restrictions and even losing some of their key players to lessen the weight of bearing huge wages. Xavi's employment has obviously turned things around for better, already they are in pole position to win the league trophy this season ahead of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid who have failed to match their strength this season.

I agree with you, Barcelona was in the post-Messi mess when Xavi took the mantle of leadership and the guy has helped the club so well. They did well but not like they were before, but still, I see nothing so serious taking the title from them this season. They are too far from their nearest opponent and can't be so careless to lose about 5 matches for Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid to be ahead of them.

I still implore them to be more serious, they should learn from Arsenal, this is not the time to relax, opponents still have time to overtake them.

Let's say after Messi left Barcelona and they had financial issues in their teams we couldn't expect to see Barcelona being able to race for the La Liga title with Real Marid and other teams because they lost many players and they had an unstable situation in their team but this season Barcelona is going to win the league while they defeated Real Madrid three times during this season with is amazing for a young coach like Xavi.
