As long as we can treat gambling as entertainment, we can still enjoy it and if we can get a win, that is a bonus for us and never try to get more because it can lead us to more losses. If people see it as a second job, they should think about the defeat they can get when they play gambling without limits for too long. It's better to use gambling for fun because that's what it is for us. It can prevent us from losing control of ourselves and money so that we will not be able to enjoy gambling as a pleasure.

LOL, I guess you are talking to core gamblers directly or addicts. A friend in this forum once said, and I quote,

Quote
And about them addicts – well, that's the name of the game.

Addiction is what the game really is; he might be right, but I don't see myself being so addicted to gambling. I can go a week or two without giving a thought to gambling without missing it. I have what I am giving full attention to that is fetching me monthly earnings, and I also have a few other things to attend to that put money in the pocket, so if I have time to gamble and make a win, I am happy, and I still enjoy the fun moment. But there are people who I think are professionals gamblers—not as if they make winnings every time, but they really use to make some potential wins, and they use the money to do great things too. Well, that's what they want for themselves, and as long as they are enjoying what they do and also earning from it, despite the loss, there is nothing bad in it.

But wait... Is it true that most gambling addicts also get addicted to drugs or alcohol? Because the few gamblers I know here almost used to win every day, I don't see any useful things they do with the money if not drinking, smoking, and taking some hard drugs. It seems that's just where all their money is going. (Anyone can answer this, please.)
