Cmonn man, cryptofrka wrote about H2H question when free bets are concerned at least 5 times now. You have much better explanation from him in several spots in this thread but here is in short:
H2H questions are looked differently for duel and free bet. For duel you just need to be better than your opponent. For free bet you have to be better than your whole division. Your opponent not posting answers means absolutely nothing when free bet is concerned.
