Even if the user was 'opposite betting', Blizz.io are still at fault as they clearly had the intention to close this users account, and still decided to take identifiable information from the user. This is totally unethical and wrong. If blizz.io had the intention to close the account whether or not the user submitted their documents, they should not have requested them from the user. For this reason,
I placed a warning on the Blizz.io announcement thread.
Not only Blizz but the majority of the casino is doing this when a user is subjected to investigation. I don't understand too the logic behind asking KYC while they already have the decision on the case against the user which can’t be overturned by submitting an ID. They should just close the account and refund the user deposit without asking for KYC they are just getting the identity flr whatever reason they have to use against the user.
The awkward thing is these ID’s that the user being submitted might be bought or hacked which means they can’t guarantee that the ID they are holding is from the user itself. Imo, submission of ID while your account is suspected for doing shady activities is very uncomfortable since you done know of the casino will plant evidence against you same case like this one.
that is the point , why not just return the deposit amount and then its done.
