Will Bayern lose points? I don't think they will lose. They are currently running very successfully. There is no difference between winning a championship by 1 point and winning by 10 points. Right now Dortmund is right behind them, but Bayern Munich is a strong team to win any game they play without stress.
Bayern Munich's next match will be with the Schalke team which is currently in a bad position, so I would assume that Schalke is a very easy opponent for Bayern Munich because in the near future Bayern Munich will play at home to face a team that is not so strong. And Schalke has the potential to experience a drop in ranking if Schalke loses at home to Bayern Munich in the near future, because Bayern Munich is really aiming for victory in the race for the Bundesliga trophy this season.Schalke still needs points. 3 Points preferably. They are still in the danger zone of relegation. I do not think it will be an easy game for Bayern Munich. They have many times disappointed this season and lost against teams where everyone expected a win. So I would not be surprised if Bayern Munich do not win this game.
I read yesterday that the mayor of Dortmund offered the Schalke team they may write their names in the "golden book" in Dortmund's city hall if they steal points from Bayern.
Schalke and BVB being huge rivals, this is saying a lot, haha. Hopefully this motivates the Schalke team even more. The rivalry will go forever and if they can actually pull this off they might use it as leverage in the future.
All jokes aside, I believe in miracles and maybe, Schalke can finally take revenge for 2001 when Bayern stole the championship from them with a goal in the 94th minute in Hamburg. So Bayern was champion and Schalke, which actually thought the Bayern game was over and they celebrated on the pitch thinking they are champion, became the "champion of hearts" .
