I was expecting Real Madrid to outclass and heavily thrash Osasuna in the Spanish Copa Del Rey final but Osasuna players had a contrary idea.
After fighting so hard and scoring the in the their first goal of the match, they pressed for a draw but because of Real Madrid's superior quality they never succeeded. They gave football fans a good game to watch at the final of this season's CDR competition
The performance from osassuna was actually very different compared to when madrid faces manchester city. Madrid looks incompetence int he match against osassuna compared with city but i do know that if real madrid didn't wanna try to put its players under pressures against osassuna.
I don't see that as a serious problem right now caused by osassuna was losing against madrid. It has not become an important question anymore. Real madrid needs to focus against manchester city rather than la liga right now.
The gap between madrid to the competitor below it is still very far. It will not be a big probelm for real madrid to lose another three points as long as madrid will able to win against manchester city.
We can't compare Osasuna to Manchester City because obviously, those are two teams of very different qualities. Even though Osasuna reached the Cop del Rey final, but that doesn't mean Osasuna has the same quality as a big team in winning the title.
So yes, it's natural that Real Madrid don't play the same way in this match, because of course the pressure will be greater when Real Madrid plays against Manchester City. But in reality, the end result has been achieved and Real Madrid still has a big chance in the Champions League, because Real Madrid's performance in La Liga and in other tournaments is clearly very different.
