Schalke still needs points. 3 Points preferably. They are still in the danger zone of relegation. I do not think it will be an easy game for Bayern Munich. They have many times disappointed this season and lost against teams where everyone expected a win. So I would not be surprised if Bayern Munich do not win this game.
Even though in head to head Bayern Munich always dominates with wins, it does seem like this will be a difficult match for Bayern Munich against Schalke later. Maybe Bayern Munich have a chance to win, but Schalke will not let that happen. We know that Schalke has so far been quite difficult for the top teams, such as holding Dortmund and Union Berlin to a draw. I think Schalke will find it difficult to steal 3 points at home to Bayern Munich, but if they can hold a draw then at least they are still securing 1 additional point and obviously it will be a loss for Bayern Munich who are competing with Dortmund at the top of the standings.
The two clubs that will compete both need a win, Bayern Munich needs a win to maintain their hopes of becoming champions, while Schalke needs a win to be able to maintain their hopes of staying in the Bundesliga next season. Of course this match will be very decisive for both clubs, but unfortunately for Schalke they have to face a club that we know is a strong club that is ready to become a champion, even though they still have problems with their consistency. When viewed from a broad perspective, on paper it is clear that Bayern Munich are the favorites to win.
