If the project is real, then obviously they will pay. If they already earn millions by tokensales, so they Won't hesitate paying small allocation of bounty payment. But if the project is fake, then what will you do what their tokens! Those Will be useless. Now bear market, so projects can't do well due to lack of investors. So mate, Don't get disappointed, just pick out some real projects instead of select all.
Token doesn’t mater because of exchange. Many project distribution hunter token but if there token not get any exchange then it will be worthless. If you can participate exchangeable bounty then you will got some valuable token. But obviously you should forget before time where hunter was gainer.
