I believe that at this stage of the competition there is not much value in referring to what the teams did or are doing in their respective national competitions. What does it help Juventus when Sevilla has been performing poorly so far in La Liga? You can make some guesses whether a loss in the last game could have some influence on the next game, which happens to be in the Europa League, but does it really help anything? I don't think so and neither Juventus nor Sevilla will really look at what the teams are doing in the league. They know that the have to play their best possible game or otherwise they are likely doomed to fail. Their approach should be to play as if this game was a final already and thinking about it, it essentially is a final. A final to the final so to say.
