<...> I have even witnessed someone from my area who lost $500,000 in just a week of playing a game, and I didn't understand how such a person can handle such loss or is he still okay with it, it's just so unreasonable for me, if I were to be asked.
Ah, such a shame! I feel bad for the guy who lost $500k, but I don't have any sympathy for him since it was his own decision to ruin himself or lose such a big amount. He could start a pretty healthy business with that amount and live the rest of his life off of it, he could even gamble once in a while with the money earned through that, but he chose to gamble it away.
<...>
Well. He had half a million dollars to begin with. Those who can afford to bet that amount do not tend to generate much sympathy.
The problem with gambling responsibly is that sometimes gamblers get into an emotional state that makes them skip all the plans that have been mentioned here: budget, maximum hours, whatever.
A good measure for those who have reached a state where they are not in control and have lost too much is self-exclusion, but the bad thing is that with the internet there are a thousand new places to gamble and in the end the only thing left to do is to seek help.
Then they will end up learning the hard way, there is no way you can handle your emotion with gambling than sticking with your rules, the moment you go off book you are going to do something stupidity that will cost you money and you will still end up trying to gain back what you just lost and that will end in more grieve.
Stick with gambling rules by using only your limit on gambling only, either it goes your way or not, the next gambling is another day, if you don't take this very serious you will have very bad stories to share, it's just the way it is with gambling, this is the only way to make sure that the shackles of gambling addiction stays away from your hands and legs. Those are the typical gambler once the player wins already in a game they keep playing until they are satisfied themselves to earn another round, another thing is the people who want to make a revenge game to the casino because of the excessive gameplay they wages a lot of games and losses at the same time, they want to earn those back and hoping to get stop once they back or else they keep playing because they already recovered their losses. Normal gamblers mindset in terms of playing. If you a responsible gambler you always stick to your plan and limits. Gambling gives too much excitements to the players reason why they urge to play more.
There are only two types of gamblers.
Responsible one and Irresponsible or being that delusional.
Once you do make yourself chasing up losses then this is the time you would be losing even more money and on the time that you do make money or you do luckily able to make some good hits but you do decide to get more rounds just because you do believe that you might able to get more then this is the sign of greediness which is something that you would really be needing to control once you do deal up with gambling.
It is really a behavior that you would really be needing to control or else you would be ending up on a disaster.
Being responsible isnt really just only limited only with gambling alone but also in other aspects or things in life which you would really be needing to be sensible on whatever situations that you might be facing on.
Gamble responsibly and you should be wary on when to stop when losing and when to stop when you are making profits.
