I believe that this is already given to most of the government because cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin have the potential to make these activities easier, which might affect efforts to enforce the law, which worries most governments.
Governments all over the world are obviously taking Bitcoin seriously, even though it is unclear whether it will become a widely used method of payment.
