I will be glad to get more contributions on how I can maintain more privacy.
First, let privacy be your priority. With Bitcoin wallet-to-wallet transactions or via P2P transactions, your real identity can never be revealed to anyone. The one thing that can get your identity revealed is when you are using a centralized platform to trade your bitcoin. For example, if you wanted to use your bitcoin on a centralized exchange, you would have to pass KYC, which requires you to willingly give out your identification details. Secondly, when you interact with a platform that saves your IP address, that, can be used to track your location. Also, just be mindful of some sites where you really give out any of your personal details, because most times, when any serious investigation is going on, there are usually some sites that those guys can go to try and fish for individual details that can help them on their search.
