This is already a thing on the poker tables, there is some software which you are allowed to run, like poker calculators or other software which may allow you to better understand the particular style of an opponent, but neither of those two different pieces of software play for you.

Poker bots have existed for a very long time, and as you may guess they are completely banned, and as soon as a casino discovers that you are making use of a bot then your account will get banned, and I do not see why the use of an AI could be exempt of those rules.
Even though there is already some software on the poker table that gamblers can use, it's not easy to get it. In fact, not every gambler can use the software.
Too much use of artificial intelligence is not a good thing either because it will only have the effect of dependency without any intention of being able to try one's own abilities.

Of course casinos will ban the use of poker bots because it is very detrimental to the casino, moreover using a poker bot is tantamount to playing unfairly.
Blocking gambling accounts because they have violated serious rules is a natural thing so that all gamblers will be able to realize that this is not allowed and can be a warning to other gamblers not to make the same mistake next time.
I have not taken the time to look at the kind of software that is available today for poker players, but poker bots were widely available years ago and I do not see any reason why it should be any different now, as even if casinos make an effort to catch all the commercial poker bots available for purchase a person with enough coding and poker skills could create their own without too much of a problem.

After all even if poker is a complex game, at heart it is a game dealing with probabilities, and computers are incredibly efficient at crunching numbers allowing them with the right programming to be way better than the average poker player.
Yes, I know what you mean, but for now it seems that poker bots have been banned by some casinos for allowing online casinos some losses.
If casinos were trying to catch commercial poker bots it would be futile as there are still lots of poker bot makers selling them so casinos would have to make deals with those selling poker bots but this would cost a lot of money for these endeavors to be really successful.

It is true that that is why online poker games are difficult to win and only a few can win poker using the skills they have.
