It was an important win to take for Valencia above all else. Because they were quite close to the relegation field and they needed to find a way to get away from there. Real Madrid didn't have any big target to achieve in the league so I'm not very surprised with this result. But of course one can say that Real Madrid could still have won this match while they were controlling the ball mostly. But having a big percentage of ball possession isn't always enough to win a match in football. This was a solid example for that.
Besides we watched two different halves as well. In the first half despite the ball possession rates Valencia had many more goal attempts and this helped them score. Real Madrid took full control in the match in the second half but it didn't change anything. This wa a horrible match for especially Vinicius Junior and that red card was a bad ending.
there were a few incidents in this game and Vinicius Junior's red card was very unfortunate even though it didn't affect the team in any way because it happened late in the game.
Vinicius Junior got red card which is very sad for him and not good news for Real Madrid fans. Vinicius Jr. has been repeatedly subjected to racist behavior in almost every match in La Liga. Vini was shown a red card by the referee for protesting racism during the Valencia vs Real Madrid match where five players, including Valencia's goalkeeper, were racially abused. Another unexpected incident happened in the match, the goalkeeper of Valencia came here and hit the vini Jr. However, in the match, the referee turned a blind eye to all those issues, instead of showing the Brazilian star a red card to protest the racist. and later a storm of special criticism was brought against the referee because the referee did not do this at all.
