Why do you blame the coach in this case? Even though in general the PSG team can win the match even if only with two goals from Mbappe. And you also need to know that the two goals that occurred in the first half with a short time difference were thanks to a mature pass from Lionel Messi in the 8th minute and another from Ruiz in the 6th minute of the match. So in this case how can you say that Lionel Messi's performance was mediocre and failed to adapt to PSG?
Looks like you didn't watch the match played by PSG at home to Auxerre. This was proven when you were wrong in saying the final score for their match and also said that Lionel Messi couldn't adapt to the PSG team so you tried to blame the coach in this case. I think that's really strange because in fact Lionel Messi also contributed to the goal scored by Mbappe in the 8th minute. Although I'm not surprised by the result PSG got because PSG was against a weak team in Ligue1.
You are right. That is a very weird and wrong comment. Not only about the score but also adaptation of Messi to PSG and this being due to the coach. I don't think there was no adaptation issues for Messi. PSG's problems lie within the team quality. Offensive power is of course great and mostly effective but I can't say the same things about the midfield and especially defense. Coaching is another issue. Even if they'd bring someone big like Pep, things wouldn't work out perfectly with this roster IMO. Benzema has grown old and completed his mission. Mbappe has to come to Real Madrid, now if we put Julian Alvarez or Osimhen next to him, that will be a legendary team. Messi has been doing his job very reluctantly for the last 2-3 matches. But his head is elsewhere. The team is very selfish, messi can't get the ball where other players should pass it to him. Next season doesn't look bright for PSG.
The biggest flaw of PSG was that they did not have a balanced team. The team was full of attacking power. But there is no use in having really good attacking players if the midfield is unable to supply good balls to the attacking players properly. And of course, the defense was really bad.
If the team actually work well and the players had good communication with each other I don't think most of them wanted to leave the team. And the success was also going to be a lot more from PSG if they just did not act so selfish on the field. After all, I will say that the biggest problem of PSG was not Messi.
