I really can't agree with you about any buying time preference for Bitcoin because my accumulation and most of the Bitcoin investor's accumulation is nondependent on the market conditions and timeframe. Everyone who goes with the DCA doesn't even care what's going on and what will be.

This can be another thing buying/accumulating more in the crisis situations as more than the regular times in DCA but fixing some base conditions to buy seems unfair because we know the potential and we also know its never late to be in the market so fearing what on buying when market is showing good rally. Try to avoid getting trapped into the timeframe choose DCA nad spend res of the life in crypto in peace
