2012 was the last time when Dortmund was able to win the Bundesliga title. Since that Bayern Munich has been dominating the Bundesliga title year after year. This is a genuine chance for Dortmund to actually win the Bundesliga title after so many years. All they have to do is win the last match that they have left. The last match is also not a very hard one for Dortmund. I hope they will be able to win that match and make sure that they are the title winner of this season. I hope they would not drop points or lose this match and leave it to luck.
Many hope that Bayern Munich will not be German champions this year. And this year, after a long time, it is realistic again. I also hope that Dortmund will end the season with a win. It is a catastrophic year for Bayern Munich. There will be some changes during the summer break. But what I admire about Bayern Munich is that they analyse their mistakes and continue to develop as a result. Nevertheless, I hope it will be exciting again next year.
There are only two situations in which Dortmund will be able to win the Bundesliga title. Either Bayern Munich has to draw/lose or Dortmund has to win. Otherwise, if they are on the same points it is going to be Bayern Munich who will win. I really hope that we will see a new champion of the Bundesliga.
I'd day Borussia Dortmund have a high chance of winning their first league title in 11 years. It's a big big opportunity for them to makes everyone proud. For now, everything is in their hands and they're completely in control of their own destiny. I can only imagine the pressure that they must be feeling at this moment, but they know that even only small mistakes could ruin the things for them. Almost every football fan out there is rooting for Dortmund to get victory against Mainz, and wants to see Marco Reus lift up the Bundesliga trophy.
Reus has stayed loyal to Dortmund for a long time. He really deserves to lift a title with Dortmund after all these years. Dortmund has a fair chance this season to do that. I hope will not throw that chance away. Just get always in the next match that's it.
