This may sound silly, but wouldn't it be easier to make updates in the first post of the topic?

Generally everyone expects to see all the necessary informations about the said campaign (at least for those users who care to read it lol). If the campaign managers have something to tell us which is necessary to know about the campaign, in my opinion, it should just be noted or edited in the first post of the topic.
