Anyway, the boy has enough money to live on his own for a good period of time, especially considering that in Nigeria the cost of living must be cheaper and that $82K could last him quite a while. What I don't see is any reference to the boy's age and whether he could legally emancipate himself in the country. Because if not, I don't know what option the boy has left. Maybe bury the money somewhere hidden so he'll let him in the house.
